Photographers Breakthrough Terms and Conditions

Payment Schedule (In Person Workshops):

Full tuition is due 120 days before the start of the class. If full tuition is not received within 110 days of workshop start date your seat may be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy (In Person Workshops):

Due to up-front costs, room block contracts and involved logistics required for our workshops, we have strict cancellation and refund policies. As a result, we recommend that you are sure you can make the workshop before you register.

Workshops deposits are nonrefundable.

If you cancel more than 120 prior to the workshop start date you will receive a refund of your tuition minus your deposit.

If you cancel less than 120 days prior to the workshop start date you will not receive a refund. If, however, we are able to fill your seat with a suitable replacement you will receive a refund of your tuition minus your deposit. Unused tuition cannot be applied to future workshops.

If you need to calculate 120 days from the workshop start date, use THIS handy dandy calculator.

If Photographer’s Breakthrough has to postpone a workshop due to COVID-19 related reasons your tuition may be applied to the rescheduled workshop or a future workshop within a calendar year.

In the unlikely event that Photographer’s Breakthrough has to cancel a workshop for non COVID reasons, participants will be informed as soon as possible and all money will be refunded.

Photographer’s Breakthrough is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of a course cancellation.

Your part (in 3 parts):

Our policies aim to protect our small business while being as fair as possible to you. We want you to  take steps to protect your investment and reduce any potential losses you may incur. With that said, we strongly suggest you consider the following:

1) Although it’s unlikely, unforeseen circumstances do arise. To protect you against losses, we are requesting that all participants purchase trip cancellation or travel insurance. This will cover you in many cases of trip cancellation, interruption, property loss and emergency medical. These policies are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased for between 4-10% of the trip cost. (Please note: these policies need to be purchased within 7-14 days of the deposit payment.)

To research and purchase travel insurance go HERE , HERE  or HERE for the top recommended sites.

2)  Traditional travel insurance policies will not cover you if you cancel due to COVID-19. If you feel that it’s likely you may need to cancel as a result of health risks or fear of traveling we recommend you purchase an additional Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) policy. These policies piggy back on top of your trip cancellation policy and will give you peace of mind that you’ll be covered regardless of your reasons for cancelling. They’re less expensive and typically come in at 40% the cost of your travel insurance policy. If you want to be covered for anything that may come up, get a CFAR in addition to your trip cancellation policy. It’s a smart choice and can cover 75% of your total trip expenses. (Please note: these policies need to be purchased within 7-14 days of the deposit payment.)

For additional information on CFAR policies go HERE.

3) We encourage participants to purchase refundable airline tickets

Photographer’s Breakthrough is not responsible for any losses incurred as a result of a course cancellation.
