This year Barcelona didn’t disappoint and neither did our students. We had a great time in the city of Gaudi. If you’re itching to see what was created during the week, here’s a little something for ya.
What an incredible week we had in Florence. It started out bumpy with two students not making it to Italy to join us. We missed both of them all week but hope that we were able to make them proud with all that we accomplished. Here’s a sneak peek at what was created in the mind boggling city of Florence.
Spring came early this year…or maybe it didn’t but it was sure nice to skip the Montana winter to spend a week in Charleston with a great group of people. Each photographer brought their own personality and vision and used it to put their stamp on the beautiful low country.
I promise, the idea of having a Finding Focus workshop in San Diego in February had nothing to do with escaping Montana’s winter. We chose San Diego because of its diversity and shear beauty. This year’s group of students took everything I through at them and put their unique spin on it.
I just got back from beautiful San Diego where I spent a week with a very talented group of students in the latest Finding Focus workshop. The catalog of their work will be on the blog in a few weeks but there were so many tremendous photographs made that I thought I’d post a few just to let have a sneak peek of what’s to come.
We had a great time in Colorado this fall. Gorgeous color, dramatic scenery and a full group of wonderful photographers. Words can’t describe the experience but photos can :). Check out what our talented students created in Colorado by clicking the catalog below.
Every now and then something comes along that is impossible to put into words. I feel that way about the Finding Focus workshops. Sure they have many of the components of mentoring and of workshops but there’s a shift that happens when you have 6 individuals so committed to moving forward that they’re willing to put their butts out there every day, twice a day, for a week while they unplug their head and shoot from their heart.
It never ceases to amaze me that we can all be so different with our photography. I guess that’s why I created the Finding Focus series of workshops; to identify and reinforce each photographer’s unique vision.
