Workshops give you the perfect environment to grow. They empower you to elevate your photographs, so you can be the photographer you were always meant to be.
Time with Tony
There are photographers, there are teachers, and then there is Tony. What does this mean for you? It means you’re signing up for the best of both worlds; Someone who understands what it means to be a photographer, the struggles and the triumphs, but also someone who has the background and knowledge of helping thousands of students hone in on what makes them special.
If you go with your instincts and keep your humor, creativity follows. With luck, success comes, too.
We are a vision-based workshop company. What does that mean? Well, it means you have a part in this too; no matter what your skill level, you bring the vision, and we’ll back you up; supporting you every step of the way to help you become the photographer we feel you deserve to be (with a bit of elbow grease, of course).
We want nothing more than for you to show up as yourself in your photography and in your life. We are excited to see what YOU bring to the table, and we’re standing by, ready to help you when you show up for your dreams.
One hot tamale.
When you think of Phoenix, you may think of hot weather, like frying an egg on the concrete kind of hot. But luckily for you, we will be enjoying it at the perfect time of year in lovely 70-degree weather. The only thing hot coming out of this workshop will be your images, cause they will be smokin’.
If you think about how to photograph, what you don’t what to do is take representational shots because they are expected and lackluster. You want to take images that really capture a sense of place, show off the details that make it special (hey there macro lovers, this one’s for you!), or make something cool and vibey like some wicked abstracts. These are the three areas we will be spending the week focusing on until you are feeling confident and cool as a cucumber in the desert.
This is what we will be focusing on the whole dang week; by the end, my goal is for you to clearly understand how to bring out what makes a place so beautiful and memorable, all while getting a nice dose of vitamin D in what would typically be freezing cold winter.
